Question: Is this a franchise?
Answer: No. You are free to operate without the constraints of a franchise. We do not charge any royalties or restrict where you operate. We do offer the support that a franchise does, but we do not charge you for this.

Question: Do I need any training or previous photographic knowledge?
Answer: No. All systems come with full instructions for installing and using the equipment. The software is extremely easy to use and has a help section. Within a few hours familiarizing yourself and practicing with the equipment you will be fully operational.

Question: What are my potential earnings?
Answer: This is a multi-application, business-to-business set up with minimal running costs. Work from home and be your own boss. Professionalism, good research, hard work and sustained marketing should lead to a highly profitable business with a growing client base and income stream. We are committed to helping you succeed with support and encouragement; our marketing package will also help you to make money from day one.

Question: How do I market myself and the equipment? Can Elevated Photos help?
Answer: Yes, Elevated Photos Ltd. has been using the equipment for numerous years and we have gained a huge amount of experience in hundreds of markets and applications. We can provide a comprehensive marketing package containing invaluable information and a wide variety of glossy images for marketing purposes. This will allow you to “hit the ground running” and gives you the backup of our team at the end of the phone to give advice and guidance just as one would expect from a franchise – but without any franchise fees or ongoing royalty payments.

Question: How much should I charge for a job?
Answer: Industry averages across all types of ground-based aerial photography:
House $150-$350 – job duration approximately 20 minutes, for four photographs on CD
Commercial Property $400-$500 – job duration approx 20/30 minutes
Half Day Commission $950/ $1,000
Full Day Commission $1,700/$2000
Remember, most clients only require the images on disk, so your only ongoing costs are – fuel, admin and a disc.

Question: Can you train me or members of my company if required?
Answer: Yes. Please call for details.

Question: Am I looked after once I have made my purchase?
Answer: From a service perspective, Elevated Photos is always on hand for any advice and technical support. Should you need any replacement parts or new additional equipment we can always supply quickly. We have a trusted track record and have worked with Police Forces, Universities and Eton College in Windsor (UK). We have been recognized for our export achievement and innovation by receiving a Royal visit from the Duke of York. These things have not happened by accident; we are consistently striving to provide the best products for this niche market and the best advice, support equipment and customer service.

Question: What camera do I require?
Answer: There is a wide variety of camera options. Please call us to discuss your requirements further.

Question: What type of vehicle do I require?
Answer: The 53’/15m - 56’/17m portable masts and the 53’/15m - 56’/17m Roof Roller systems, can be fitted to nearly any sort of vehicle.

The 85’/26m system requires a medium-sized van or a substantial SUV. Either of these two systems may be trailer mounted.

Question: What type of roof rack will I require for the 13’/5M to 56’/17M masts.
Answer: You will only require a standard, rugged roof rack and tow hitch/pintle mount.

Question: Do you have a help line?
Answer: Yes. As part of our company commitment to our customers, customers may call if they require any assistance.

Question: What precautions do I need to take in windy conditions?
Answer: All systems above 33’/10m come with guys ropes and instructions on how to use them. As a rough guide the 56’/17m, 85’/26m and 100’/30M systems require guying much less frequently due to their optimum lateral strength.

Question: What sort of maintenance is required?
Answer: Minimal maintenance is required, apart from cleaning and re-greasing the sections.

Question: Can I use the equipment for alternative uses other than photography?
Answer: Yes, infrared cameras for thermal imaging, video cameras for numerous applications, a range of air quality equipment, anemometers and wind turbines, and more can be used. We supply a range of head load brackets for numerous uses.

Question: If I choose a vehicle-mounted system, such as your popular 53’/15m and 56’/17m Roof Roller systems how can I access remote or inaccessible locations for vehicles?
Answer: Easily. Our systems also can be tripod-mounted. You can remove the masts from our vehicle mounts in seconds and take it into a remote location for tripod mounting. The 53’/15m and 56’/17m Roof Roller systems are particularly easy to remotely deploy.

Question: Do you offer multiple-mast discounts to allow us to have a permanent mast on vehicle and a supplementary mast for field deployment in inaccessible areas?
Answer: Customers who have purchased the permanently fixed larger masts i.e. 85’/26m and 100’/30m masts can benefit immediately from a heavily discounted portable system. The portable mast can then be tripod-mounted giving a truly versatile operation; you may use these two pieces of equipment separately, creating a second revenue stream.

Question: What do I do if my equipment is stolen or damaged beyond repair?
Answer: This situation occurs very rarely but as a precaution we would advise you to insure your equipment (this is not costly) to cover any replacement expenses. Elevated Photos understands that we need to give our customer’s a backup! We will get you up and going again with the minimum of fuss. Whenever practicable, we will undertake to loan you some equipment to keep your business functioning and will deliver your replacement equipment as a priority.

Question: Do you offer a vertically mounted mast? Do you offer masts for custom specifications?
Answer: Yes. We have a full range of vertical masts. Please call for details. Special order masts are available for nearly any situation or vehicle.
